Our Facility Valkyrie Icelandics is located at Mountain Icelandic Farm in Watsonville, California. Situated three miles from Highway 1 just north of Watsonville and south of Aptos, Moutain Icelandic Farm is the ideal setting for getting to know and working with the Icelandic Breed.
Laura Benson, Head Trainer Laura
is certified with the Horse Trainers Association of Iceland (FT). She
has been an avid rider all her life, and now specializes in Icelandic
Horses. Laura helps her clients get involved with the breed by using
classical methods which encourage harmony, respect and understanding
between horse and rider.
